Holiday Message from the Board of Health
Posted: December 4, 2020
The Randolph Township Board of Health would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season and asks that everyone celebrate the holidays responsibly.
Wear a mask. Masks can protect you, but masks also protect other people in the event the wearer is unknowingly infected or asymptomatic. Masks should not be worn by babies, children younger than 2 years old or anyone who has trouble breathing.
Limit numbers of in-person social gatherings. During the pandemic, it is important to comply with gathering limitations set by the state of New Jersey and avoid gatherings that do not adhere to these standards.
Stay home if you are sick. While you may be missed at school, work or holiday gatherings, staying home when you are sick will help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Consult with your health care provider and quarantine as directed.
Get tested. If you don’t feel sick, but think you may have contracted COVID-19, consult with your health care provider to determine if you should be tested.
Limit travel. Travel to restricted areas should be avoided. Should you have a need to travel to restricted areas, please comply with applicable quarantine measures upon your return.
