Hope Vans to Visit Library

These mobile outreach vans, designed to provide social services as well as support for persons struggling with addiction, will be at the library on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Morris County Sheriff’s Office operates Hope One, a mobile recovery access vehicle offering critical support for persons struggling with addiction, with the goals of preventing drug overdoses and deaths.

The Navigating Hope Van, designed to provide social services, offers on-site benefits eligibility screenings and application assistance, as well as linkage to other community services. Residents may apply for the following:

SNAP
Medicaid
General assistance
Temporary assistance for needy families
Utility assistance
Housing assistance
