HSOR to Host Randolph Reminisces Program
Posted: June 6, 2017
The Historical Society of Old Randolph (HSOR) is pleased to announce that Paula (nee Rosenfarb) Antin and her brother, Norman Rosenfarb will be the next guest speakers in its special series of programs entitled “Randolph Reminisces.”
The public is invited to attend this free program on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Museum. The museum is located in the historic Brundage House at the main entrance to Randolph’s Freedom Park on Millbrook Avenue. Light refreshments will be served.
Paula, Norman, and older brother Seymour are the children of Isadore and Sophie Rosenfarb. The Rosenfarbs resided in Mt. Freedom. The children attended Randolph Township schools through eighth grade and then went on to graduate from Dover High School because Randolph High School was not built until the early 1960s.
Isadore Rosenfarb was the owner of farmland on Calais Road from which he operated his business as a cattle dealer and (later) as a dairy farmer. The Rosenfarb siblings will discuss their experiences growing up in Randolph. Paula will elaborate on her time spent working at Saltz’s Hotel and Norman will speak to his adventures on the farm.
