Randolph Ranked as One of the Safest Communities in the Nation

Randolph Township was ranked #33 in the SafeWise report of the top 100 safest cities in America in which to live and work; six other Morris County towns also made the list.
SafeWise Communications Manager Sage Singleton stated, “This is an opportunity to recognize police officers, city officials and neighborhood watch leaders for their efforts. It’s a great chance to shine a light on a municipality’s continuing commitment to public safety.”
Mayor Carey was pleased with the news. “The safety of Randolph residents is a top priority for the township council, the township staff, and of course, the Randolph Police Department,” she said. “We are all committed to keeping our community safe and it’s wonderful to see the results of our efforts recognized in this way.”
SafeWise has been conducting a comprehensive study of safety in the U.S. and putting out an annual ranking for six years.
