9-Week “Stress Busting’’ Program for Caregivers

“Stress-Busting for Family Caregivers,” a unique 9-week program which begins September 19, 2019, helps family caregivers manage their stress and better cope with their lives.
Offered by Morris County’s Department of Human Services, the free program (donations accepted) is designed to improve the quality of life of family caregivers who provide care for persons with Alzheimer’s Disease, various types of dementia and other chronic illnesses. The program is conducted in a small group setting with two trained group facilitators.
The program will be held at the Office of Temporary Assistance, 340 West Hanover Avenue in Morristown. Morning and afternoon sessions will be offered, at either 9:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.
