Survey for Residents Who Commute to NYC
Posted: September 1, 2018
The Township of Randolph is seeking to determine public interest in a shuttle service that would benefit Randolph residents who commute to New York City.
TransOptions and the township have teamed up to create and launch a survey. Individuals who take the survey can enter to win a raffled $100.00 gas card, courtesy of TransOptions.
The survey will help determine details such as modes of transportation that commuters are currently using as well as feasible shuttle pick up and drop off location(s), hours and days of operation, and the number of residents that would benefit from shuttle service.
A shuttle for Randolph residents who commute to New York City could provide the option of a more sustainable commute, reduce single occupancy rides, reduce car congestion on Route 10 and Sussex Turnpike and decrease emissions, improving the health of northern New Jersey residents.
