H1N1 Vaccination Clinic Scheduled
Posted: January 25, 2010
The Randolph Township Health Department is announcing that the next H1N1 vaccination clinic will take place on Thursday, January 28th between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Middle School, 507 Millbrook Avenue in Randolph.
Prior to December 17th, the clinics were only for five priority groups determined by CDC guidelines. These restrictions have been lifted and the H1N1 vaccination is now available for everyone.
If you plan to attend, please do NOT arrive early. We strongly urge your cooperation as school will be in session and long lines will interfere with school dismissal.
Live attenuated nasal spray and killed injectable will both be available.
We encourage parents to bring their children under the age of ten in for their second dose assuming it has been a 28-day interval since the first. The first dose provides 30% protection while the second dose raises that to nearly 100% protection.
In an effort to minimize wait time, we ask that you download and complete the appropriate consent form prior to coming to the clinic then print it out and bring it with you. Also, please be sure to review the Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) for each type of vaccine and/or consult your private physician or medical provider with any specific questions you may have.
