Annual Trunk or Treat and Hayride

Bring your family to a fun and safe “Trunk or Treat” event on Saturday, October 28, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Brundage Park on Carrell Road.

This “spooktacular” event, co-sponsored by the Randolph Township Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services and the Mt. Freedom Volunteer Fire Company, will have hayrides, hot chocolate and an outdoor movie in addition to lots of candy. The best decorated trunks or storage areas will be eligible for special prizes. While ground effects and other decorations outside the car are welcome, they will not be considered in the judging.

Schedule:

  • 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.—parking/set-up/outdoor movie
  • 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.—trunk or treat and hayrides
  • 7:45 p.m.—prizes awarded

For Trunk or Treat, registered cars will park in the parking lot and children will go from car trunk to car trunk to get their treats. All cars must be pre-registered in advance and must participate by distributing candy; one adult must remain with each car.

Admission is $15.00 per car, payable at the event. Pre-registration is required and can be accomplished by visiting our online registration site. The Trunk or Treat is listed under Fall 2017 programs. One registration per family is sufficient.

Proceeds benefit the Mt. Freedom Volunteer Fire Company.

Brundage Park will be closed to the public from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Only registered participants will be allowed into the park. No walk-ins from the trails or adjacent neighborhoods will be permitted into the park.
