Annual Trunk or Treat and Hayride

Posted: October 11, 2019

Bring your family to a fun and safe “Trunk or Treat” event on Saturday, October 26, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Brundage Park on Carrell Road.

This “spooktacular” event, co-sponsored by the Randolph Township Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services and the Mt. Freedom Volunteer Fire Company, will have hayrides, hot chocolate and an outdoor movie in addition to lots of candy. Creativity is encouraged as there will be a contest for “Best Trunk.”

Schedule:

  • 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.—parking/trunk decorating/hayrides/outdoor movie
  • 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.—trunk or treat
  • 7:45 p.m.—prizes awarded

For Trunk or Treat, registered cars will park in the parking lot and children will go from car trunk to car trunk to get their treats. All cars must be pre-registered in advance and must participate by distributing candy; one adult must remain with each car.

Admission is $15.00 per car (cash only), payable at the event. Pre-registration is required (only 180 spots available) and can be accomplished by visiting our online registration site. The Trunk or Treat is listed under Fall 2019 programs. Only one registration per family is required. Registration is for vehicles, not each family member who will be attending.

Proceeds benefit the Mt. Freedom Volunteer Fire Company.

Brundage Park will be closed to the public from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Only registered participants will be allowed into the park. No walk-ins from the trails or adjacent neighborhoods will be permitted into the park.
