ALERT: Reopening of Trails

Governor Murphy issued Executive Order 133 reopening state and county parks and trails. The Randolph Township trail system remains open. Access to the trails in James Andrew County Park are restored, effective Saturday, May 2, 2020.

ALERT: Closure of State and County Park Facilities Affects Some Township Trails

Due to Executive Order #118 from Governor Murphy, all state and county park facilities, including trails, are now closed to the public. These closures are reflected in this trail map  which indicates areas where township trails cross through James Andrew County Park. The other trails in Randolph are not impacted at this time.

ALERT: Sanitary Sewer Usage

We are requesting that all residents not dispose of items such as Swiffer mops or wipes, sanitary napkins, baby wipes, diapers or cloths into the sewer collection system. Flushing these products down toilets will clog sewers and cause backups and overflows at wastewater treatment facilities, creating an additional public health risk in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. To make a payment to the municipal court for a violation/summons, please do one of the following: 1) Call 973.989.7054 to pay by phone–there will be no processing fee for this service or 2) Drop payment (check) and summons off in the drop box located in the front of the municipal building, 502 Millbrook Avenue in Randolph–please be sure to include the case/ticket/summons number on the check. If you have any questions about the municipal court or the status of your violation/summons, please call 973.989.7054.

ALERT: Morris County Government Coordinating Response to Coronavirus

The Morris County Office of Emergency Management and Office of Health Management, in coordination with officials in all 39 Morris County towns, school districts and major healthcare providers, are closely monitoring the situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Officials across the county are working in concert with the New Jersey Department of Health and federal agencies to ensure they have the latest information to best deal with the virus. In particular, county officials are working closely with Atlantic Health and Saint Clare’s Health. The Morris County Board of Freeholders is closely monitoring the situation through regular updates and has authorized county funding for needs related to this issue. Complete information
