Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 summer camp season has been cancelled.
The Randolph Township Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and Artworks Studio staff are pleased to offer several summer camp programs from pre-K aged children through teens.
Camp will be conducted Monday through Friday at the air-conditioned Artworks Studio located behind the municipal building on Millbrook Avenue. All classes will be taught by Artworks instructors Debbie Sasaki, Karen Brown, Laurel Clark and Anne Marie Tatkow.

Summer Art Camp 2020
Week 1: Teen Camp
June 22 - 26
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Who: Teens who have completed grades 6 - 12
Instructor: Laurel Clark
Students will spend an intensive week working on many projects that will help hone their artistic skills and stimulate the imagination while incorporating composition, color theory, form and light. The days are filled with drawing exercises, problem-solving challenges, introduction to new materials & skills along with a group project. Projects will include the exploration of drawing, painting, printing and sculpting techniques. Campers are to bring a snack and a lunch.
Week 2: Wonders Beneath Our Feet
July 13 - 17
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Who: Students who have completed grades 1 - 5
Instructors: Debbie Sasaki/Anne Marie Tatkow
Let’s explore the underground and get a glimpse of what’s beneath our feet! What are we walking and swimming over? Are there living things under foot? Even burrowing animals? Campers will discover a mysterious world of insects, animals and sea life that quietly live in harmony with us, sharing our planet, under our feet! Campers are to bring a snack and a lunch.
Week 3: Down the Shore
July 27 - 31
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Who: Students who are entering Kindergarten - completed grade 3
Instructors: Karen Brown/Erin Benard/Hannah Coward
Sea, sand, and sun...and lots of artistic fun! Come on down to Artworks’s beach and artistically explore all the elements of the NJ surf & boardwalk...sandcastles, sea creatures, boardwalk rides, seashells, ice cream and more! Campers are to bring a snack.
Week 4: The Greatest Show on Earth
August 17, 19, 20
9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Who: Students ages 3-1/2 to 6 years old
Instructors: Karen Brown/Debbie Sasaki
Join our 3-ring studio circus with all your favorite animal tricks, trapeze acts, acrobats, clowns, popcorn & cotton candy! Step right up and draw, sculpt, paint and cut & paste your way through amazing acts of creativity. Campers are to bring a snack.
