Please note: An Ordinance of the Township of Randolph Appropriating $30,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund and Amending Capital Ordinance #10-19 for the Curtain Wall Replacement

• Whereas, the Township of Randolph desires to appropriate $30,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund as follows: The funding for Capital Improvements is hereby authorized not to exceed $30,000 for the following purpose: 

A total sum of $30,000 is authorized to complete these improvements including $30,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund; and  

• Whereas, Capital Ordinance #10-19 was introduced on April 18, 2019 and adopted on May 2, 2019; and 
• Whereas, this ordinance includes, among other authorizations, an authorization for improvements to municipally-owned property and, more specifically, a Town Hall Fountain/Atrium Design in the amount of $45,000; and 
• Whereas, the project has been completed with funds remaining in the amount of $30,000 and funds are now needed for replacement of the Curtain Wall at Town Hall; and 
• Whereas, there will be no changes to the amount originally authorized by Ordinance #10-19. 

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris and State of New Jersey, that $30,000 be appropriated from the Capital Improvement Fund and that Ordinance #10-19 be amended to utilize the remaining funds in the amount of $30,000 for the Town Hall Curtain Wall Replacement Project; and 

Be It Further Resolved the capital budget of the Township is hereby amended to conform with the provisions of this ordinance and that this ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption and publication in accordance with applicable statutes.

Ordinance Number 16-24

Notice is hereby given that an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance of the Township of Randolph Appropriating $30,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund and Amending Capital Ordinance #10-19 for the Curtain Wall Replacement" was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on September 5, 2024, and was introduced, read by title, and passed on first reading. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at the regular meeting to be held on October 1, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time at the Municipal Building in said Township located at 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at which time and place a public hearing thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.

Statement of Purpose of Ordinance

The purpose of the above Ordinance is to appropriate $30,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund and amend Capital Ordinance #10-19 for improvements to municipally-owned property and, more specifically, the Town Hall Fountain/Atrium Design and utilize those funds for the Town Hall Curtain Wall Replacement. 

 A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, without cost, at the Township of Randolph, Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at the Office of the Township Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
