Please note: An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 07-22 to Provide and Determine the Range of Compensation for Specified Employees in the Township of Randolph

  • WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A 9-165 permits a municipality to establish salaries, wages, or compensation to be paid to employees of the municipality; and
  • WHEREAS, the Township Council and Township Manager have made a careful examination of the salaries, wages, and compensation appropriate to the compensation of said Township employees, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, they being the Governing Body thereof, that the below-stated titles and compensation shall be amended upon adoption of this ordinance as follows:

Ordinance No. 14-23

Notice is hereby given that an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 07-22 to Provide and Determine the Range of Compensation for Specified Officers and Employees in the Township of Randolph" was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on June 6, 2023, and was introduced, read by title, and passed on first reading. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at regular meeting on June 29, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time at the Municipal Building in said Township located at 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at which time and place a public hearing thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.

Statement of Purpose of Ordinance

The purpose of the said Ordinance is to establish and set forth the salaries for the Township employees listed herein that will be in effect starting January 1, 2023. A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, at no cost, at the Randolph Township Municipal Building, Office of the Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
