Please note: An Ordinance Providing for the Upgrade of Sanitary Sewer Pump Stations In and By the Township of Randolph in the County of Morris, New Jersey, and Appropriating $732,489.78 Therefor, Constituting Proceeds of Obligations of the Township Heretofore Issued
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, NEW JERSEY, AS FOLLOWS:
The improvement described in Section 2 of this ordinance is hereby authorized to be made or acquired by The Township of Randolph, in the County of Morris, New Jersey, as a general improvement and there is hereby appropriated therefor the sum of $732,489.78, said sum constituting proceeds of obligations of the Township heretofore issued and not necessary for financing the purpose for which issued and now available for financing the said improvement or purpose.
The improvement hereby authorized and the purpose for the financing of which the appropriation is made as provided in Section 1 of this ordinance is the improvement and upgrade of sanitary sewer pump stations in and by the Township, including but not limited to the CCM, Dogwood and Denbrook pump stations, together with all site work, landscaping, structures, pipes, accessories, appurtenances, equipment, engineering, studies and design plans, work and materials necessary therefor or incidental thereto, all as shown on and in accordance -3- with the plans and specifications therefor on file or to be filed in the office of the Township Clerk and hereby approved.
It is the opinion of the Township Council of the Township, as the governing body thereof, that it is in the best interest of the Township that $732,489.78, constituting proceeds of obligations of the Township heretofore issued under Ordinance No. 2097, shall be appropriated to and used to finance costs, including incidental expenses, of the improvement or purpose above described in Section 2 of this ordinance.
The capital budget or temporary capital budget of the Township is hereby amended to conform with the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency herewith and the resolutions promulgated by the Local Finance Board showing all detail of the amended capital budget or temporary capital budget and capital program as approved by the Director, Division of Local Government Services, are on file with the Township Clerk and are available for public inspection.
This ordinance shall take effect after final passage as provided by law.

Notice is hereby given that an Ordinance entitled "Ordinance Providing for the Upgrade of Sanitary Sewer Pump Stations in and by the Township of Randolph, In the County of Morris, New Jersey, and Appropriating $732,489.78 Therefor, Constituting Proceeds of Obligations of the Township Heretofore Issued" was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on November 2, 2023, and was introduced, read by title an passed on first reading. A Statement of Purpose of the Ordinance is contained below. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at their regular meeting to be held on November 28, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, at which time and place a public hearing will be heard thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.
Statement of Purpose of Ordinance
The purpose of said ordinance is to appropriate $732,489.78 for the improvement and upgrade of sanitary sewer pump stations in and by the Township, including but not limited to the CCM, Dogwood and Denbrook pump stations, said moneys constituting proceeds of obligations of the Township heretofore issued and no longer necessary for their original purposes.
A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, without cost, at the Township of Randolph, Municipal Building, Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at the Office of the Township Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
