Please note: Capital Ordinance of the Township of Randolph Appropriating $75,823 From the (Open Space) Capital Improvement Fund and $24,177 from Capital Fund Balance for the Parks Master Plan
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris and State of New Jersey as follows:
The sum of $100,000 is hereby appropriated for the purpose of funding the engagement of special consultants for the preparation of the Township’s Parks Master Plan. Said project shall be funded by appropriating $75,823 from the Capital Improvement Fund (Open Space) and $24,177 from Capital Fund Balance.
The capital budget of the Township is hereby amended to conform with the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency therewith and the resolutions promulgated by the Local Finance Board showing full detail of the amended capital budget and capital program as approved by the Director, Division of Local Government Services, is on file with the Township Clerk and is available for public inspection.
This ordinance shall take effect 10 days after the first publication thereof after final adoption.

Notice is hereby given that an Ordinance entitled “Capital Ordinance of the Township of Randolph Appropriating $75,823 From the (Open Space) Capital Improvements Fund and $24,177 From Capital Fund Balance or the Parks Master Plan” was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on May 1, 2025 and was introduced, read by title, and passed on first reading. A Statement of Purpose of the Ordinance is contained below. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at their regular meeting to be held on May 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, at which time and place a public hearing will be heard thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.
Statement of Purpose of Ordinance
The purpose of the above Ordinance is to appropriate $75,823 from the (Open Space) Capital Improvement Fund and $24,177 from the Capital Fund Balance to fund the engagement of special consultants for the preparation of the Township’s Parks Master Plan.
A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, without cost, at the Township of Randolph, Municipal Building, Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at the Office of the Township Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
